Other Experience

Prior to joining DA, Sophia led hardware capital planning for Lyft's Transit, Bikes, and Scooters division, which operates the largest bicycle- and scooter-sharing systems in the US, including Citi Bike in New York, Bay Wheels in San Francisco, Divvy in Chicago, and Capital Bikeshare in Washington, DC. During her time there, the team electrified the fleet for the first time, including releasing a next-generation e-bike that was named to Time’s 100 Best Inventions of 2021 list for its contributions to urban sustainability. 

Before that, Sophia managed a portfolio of energy and infrastructure credit ratings at S&P Global, where she also contributed to thought leadership on sustainable cities and renewable energy transitions. She began her career in financial and economic consulting at Deloitte.
