Delivery Experience

​​Silvana is working with Jamaica’s Ministry of National Security to implement policies to improve citizen security, applying deliverology tools to achieve their priorities. She is also collaborating on the IFAD Resolve project for the LAC region, which seeks to enhance public servants' capacities to achieve the SDGs of eliminating poverty and hunger.  

Other Experience

Before joining DA, Silvana worked in several Peruvian government institutions and consulting firms. Most recently, she served as Director of Quality of the Public Expenditure Directorate at the Ministry of Economy and Finance. In this position, she led the design and implementation of results-based budgeting tools, such as results-based budget programs, impact evaluations on public interventions, performance indicator monitoring systems, and results-based financing (RBF) mechanisms. She has worked in several sectors, including health, education, child development, social protection, security, environment, and sanitation.

In 2017, Silvana served as Health Priority Manager in the Prime Minister's Delivery Unit, which she helped establish and run. She applied the deliverology method to identify priorities, monitor data, coordinate and generate routines, and build her team’s capacity.
