Delivery Experience

Sarah works on the State Recovery Now initiative, where she develops policy resources for state and local governments and advises policymakers on how to spend COVID-19 recovery funds effectively. Previously, she worked on the Over Zero Election Violence Prevention effort, advising local elected officials on communication and stakeholder engagement strategies to prevent civic unrest or violence surrounding the 2020 election. She has also partnered with the National Resources Defense Council to shape federal-level climate policy, and has worked with public health experts to create a COVID-19 vaccination toolkit for the U.S. Conference of Mayors.

Other Experience

Prior to joining DA, Sarah served as Policy Director to Congressman Joe Kennedy III (D-MA), where she developed policy initiatives and communications strategies, covering all foreign and domestic policy issues spanning from labor and economic development to health care, climate, criminal legal reform, and social justice. She earned an MPP from Harvard University, where she studied negotiation and conflict resolution, electoral politics, and strategic communications.
