Paul is an experienced state and local government strategist interested in the force-multiplying power of the public, private, and social sectors. He is passionate about the potential for well-run governments, socially-responsible companies, and evidence-based nonprofits to form a better society if incentives are properly aligned.

Paul is currently working with an edtech nonprofit to help them connect the work they do to their goals.
Other Experience
Prior to joining DA, Paul worked as a consultant at Alvarez & Marsal, helping multiple U.S. state agencies respond to financial and operational crises. Paul is passionate about community building, and currently serves as a board member for a DC-based refugee resettlement organization. He also started an initiative that led to the removal of a Confederate monument in his hometown.
