Other Experience

Prior to joining DA, Uzair worked as a consultant at the Economic Development and Digital Alliance (EDDA) in Islamabad, Pakistan, which he co-founded with partners from Harvard Kennedy School and the University of Zurich. The firm utilized a rigorous, empirical approach to solving clients’ pertinent issues, and used machine-learning algorithms and data-driven solutions to aid clients in making optimal decisions. From reframing COVID-19 lockdown procedures in Islamabad to conducting a comprehensive evaluation of UNDP-led climate change mitigation strategies in Northern Pakistan, Uzair has worked across multiple cross-sectional teams and interacted with policymakers and relevant stakeholders to design appropriate and data-driven policies.
