Other Experience
As a public health Peace Corps Volunteer for four years in Peru, Marc Anthony worked with community health promoters to design and implement a project aimed at tackling chronic malnourishment through one-on-one home visits with families. By the end of two years, four children had returned to normal nutritional status, 28 improved cook stoves had been built, and 23 small-scale landfills were excavated. Additionally, the local Early Childhood Stimulation Center achieved government-set goals two consecutive years and received an operating budget to remain in the community.
As a Program Officer at the United Methodist Committee on Relief, Marc Anthony managed a portfolio of sustainable development grants in 20+ countries. His team revamped the portfolio by completing a six-year analysis of its performance and investments, creating new theories of change and results frameworks to match industry trends, streamlining application tools, and more to not only support partners around the world, but also ensure funds were invested in the right areas.
