Kendal brings to Delivery Associates 15 years of non-profit experience in strategic planning, partnership building, communications, resource mobilization and data-driven, human-centered program design and coordination focused on affordable housing, community development and education in the United States and Central America. An optimist by nature, she believes in the power of leveraging data, breaking down silos, building institutional capacity and deeply engaging communities to solve complex problems and drive social impact.

Delivery Experience
Kendal is supporting the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to drive equitable outcomes for students through improvements in student assessment and school accountability.
Other Experience
Kendal started her career in El Salvador with Habitat for Humanity, where she raised more than $12.5 million to fund the construction of affordable housing and facilitated internal capacity building to plan and implement large community development projects. More recently, she oversaw partnerships and applied learning for the MPA in Development Practice program at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. Notably, she contributed to published research on government innovation in New York City and developed the program's first diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) multi-year strategic plan in collaboration with students, alumni and faculty. Kendal serves on the board of directors of the non-profit organization Seeds of Learning, which runs small libraries in Nicaragua that receive 99,000 annual user visits.
