Hafsa has supported governments and global leaders across 10 different countries in 5 continents to catalyze change in low, middle and high-income environments. She helped turn the Royal Court's vision into concrete, government-wide goals in a GCC country; worked through implementation challenges for an Australian state education department; and partnered with global philanthropies such as The Gates Foundation to build momentum behind global issues. She has also worked in Sierra Leone, Ethiopia and the Prime Minister's Delivery Unit in Albania to combine strong policy with decisive action and real-time evaluation of program effectiveness on the ground. She now leads our work in the Middle East, as well as our Global Partnerships practice.

As the world continues to move towards greater global connectedness, much of Hafsa's work is now focused on building strong relationships across global multi-laterals, philanthropies, regional institutions and in-country government political leaders. She is also applying her strong expertise in investment fund management to increase ROI for development funds worldwide. Taken as a whole, her work helps ensure that investments, policies, and programs lead to lasting impact at the local level.

Prior to DA, Hafsa worked at Ernst & Young, where she was primarily focused on supporting state and non-state enterprises in the GCC region. Before that, her interest in supporting people all over the world brought her from rural Tamale in Ghana where she worked on digital inclusion for women, to Vietnam where she worked closely with at-risk youth on breaking inter-generational cycles of poverty, to Pakistan where she helped launch the Chief Minister's Delivery Unit and lead the unit's education team. Hafsa has deep experience in M&E, including designing randomized control trials in some of Pakistan's most hard hit areas.
