Delivery Experience
Daniel has worked all over the world to implement reforms and drive outcomes across multiple sectors. In the Caribbean, he supported heads of state across the region throughout implementation of large-scale economic and social interventions, including business environment reforms, SME support, and economic revitalization strategies. In the United States, he has worked with leaders of large U.S. cities to transform emergency response, transportation, sustainability, and social services. In the Middle East and Africa, Daniel has supported Cabinet-level leadership, Delivery Units, philanthropies and development banks on strategy, planning and implementation of economic growth-focused reforms.
In Southeast Asia, Daniel supported establishment and capacity building for a central Delivery Unit in a Prime Minister’s Office; he led teams working to improve Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) and reduce unemployment. Daniel's role included managing routine meetings and conducting diagnostics across key delivery challenges in business environments and manpower planning. The work resulted in the country moving its EoDB ranking from 105th to 56th over three years, earning it recognition as the Most Improved Country for EoDB three years in a row; the work also created ~3,000 local jobs in the construction sector through successful introduction of a critical upskilling program for unemployed workers.
Other Experience
Prior to joining DA, Daniel worked on public sector reform, economic development planning, corporate and business unit strategy, organizational design, and PE due diligence in KSA, UAE, Oman, Pakistan, and Nigeria.
Daniel was also a Fulbright Research Fellow with the U.S. Department of State, with a focus on student government politics in Jordan.
