Summary

Clara is an enthusiastic and inclusive problem solver with experience in non-profit management, strategic planning, program development, and evaluation. She works with governments and organizations to drive effective policy implementation related to some of the most pressing issues of our time, including climate change and racial equity. She believes that data-driven planning fueled by strong relationships can ensure meaningful outcomes for residents and build trust in our communities.

Delivery Experience

Clara currently works with cities and advocacy organizations on the strategy and implementation of a broad set of policy issues including climate funding, advocacy planning, and criminal justice reform.

Other Experience

Prior to joining DA, Clara helped launch the Philadelphia Green Capital Corp (the first green bank in Philadelphia), which focuses on providing low-interest loans to drive clean energy adoption in the region. Before that, she lived in New Orleans for seven years where she was an educator, nonprofit leader, and social enterprise manager at Grow Dat Youth Farm, a youth leadership and urban farm non-profit that employs over 80 young people a year to grow food for their communities. She is a Teach for America alumnus.
