Charlie is motivated and inspired by the catalytic impact of different governmental models—such as nodal agencies and delivery units—and their ability to deliver meaningful change. Drawing on his strategy and delivery experience in contexts around the world, he enjoys working with governments, multilaterals and private organisations alike to solve complex problems and deliver real outcomes.

Delivery Experience

Charlie’s work at DA has involved setting up and supporting successful delivery teams focused on agriculture, education and health outcomes for clients based in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Other Experience

Prior to joining DA, Charlie worked in management consulting across global corporations and government departments with a focus on the UK Government.

He then moved to the World Food Programme, where he worked with multiple Head of State offices to design new governance models and deliver on their key agricultural priorities. In Ethiopia, Charlie led a strategic review of the Ethiopian Agricultural Businesses Corporation, and designed and implemented projects such as a digital extension pilot for the Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Agency (ATA). In other countries such as Sudan and Togo, Charlie worked with the President's office to scope and design new nodal agencies focused on agriculture.
