Ana is an economist with experience working with governments, NGOs, and multilateral organizations to help increase the effectiveness of public and social programs. She has worked across Latin America and Africa in a wide range of sectors including economic development, competitiveness, and education.

Delivery Experience
Ana is currently supporting Bloomberg Philanthropies’ Global Mayors Challenge by advising two Latin American cities (Hermosillo and Bogotá) to successfully deliver their bold, innovative solutions in the next 3 years.
Other Experience
Prior to joining DA, Ana designed and implemented Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) systems and results-based financing mechanisms. Some of her experience includes designing M&E systems for NGOs and governments, designing Early Child Development Social-Impact Bonds, and advising competitiveness policies and programs in Latin America and Africa.
