Amarilis is an economist with a decade of experience in macroeconomics monitoring and analysis with skills in public finance, international development, and trade and economic integration. She loves solving complex problems and getting things done, and she is passionate about public policy and economic development.

Delivery Experience
Amarilis is currently working on a program to help local governments tackle pressing challenges and improve residents’ lives by using data and evidence effectively.
Other Experience
As a Deputy Director of the Foreign Exchange area in the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic, Amarilis and her team automatized processes, effectively reducing the data processing time by 70%.
Amarilis has also mentored and coached 70+ students and young professionals since 2013, and she has experience coordinating masters’ programs in economics and public policy.
