As Learning & Development Advisor you’ll play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our diverse and globally dispersed colleagues. You will collaborate with various departments to identify training needs and develop effective learning solutions and maintaining, analysing and reporting of accurate learning data, ensuring effective and timely communication and scheduling of learning events (F2F and virtual) and maintaining our learning platform (Thrive) with relevant and up to date learning content for our teams.
In particular, you will:
- Work closely with our Head of L&D and Knowledge teams to support the internal L&D needs of our firm
- Maintain and assign learning materials to employees through our learning platform (Thrive)
- Design and develop comprehensive training programs tailored to meet specific regional and organisational needs
- Deliver engaging and effective training sessions through various formats, such as workshops, webinars, and e-learning modules
- Schedule and communicate remote training sessions for new and existing hires
- Evaluate the performance of our learning and development interventions and report on potential opportunities for continuous improvement
- Communicate effectively with employees to promote awareness of available training opportunities
- Be involved and contribute to exciting projects and improvement initiatives within the L&D, Knowledge and wider people team
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Head of L&D, ensuring adaptability to evolving needs and responsibilities beyond those explicitly outlined in this job description
Role-specific requirements:
- You’ll be of a curious mindset that champions innovation and will be prepared to challenge the status quo to improve the experience of our learners, administrative tasks and processes
- Experience of designing and delivering engaging learning experiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Suite
- Superb organisational skills and proven capacity to juggle multiple tasks, workstreams, and requests
- Highly independent and accountable, with ability to efficiently complete many complicated tasks without close supervision (e.g., in a remote-office arrangement)
- The ability to remain calm under pressure, solve problems with a positive, flexible, and proactive attitude.
- Demonstrate resourcefulness and responsiveness, emphasizing the importance of addressing challenges promptly and creatively.
- Proficiency in using learning management systems and other training-related technologies
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
