Job Description

Leading our work in the Middle East, you'll further develop and enable our strategic vision for impact in the region, as well as contribute to the overall leadership of Delivery Associates as a global senior leader in the firm.

Key responsibilities
  • Set and implement a strategic vision for the Middle East region, in partnership with other ADs and Directors
  • Set and manage the annual budgets for the Middle East region, in partnership with other ADs and Directors
  • Contribute to decisions on the overall strategic vision of Delivery Associates, overseen by the board
  • Successfully identify new client development opportunities and convert them into wins
  • Build a sustainable pipeline of talent in the region through active involvement in acquiring and developing team members
  • Lead through others on multiple projects and regional priorities, demonstrating comfort amid ambiguity, proactivity, dependability and excellence
  • Line and performance management for employees in the region
  • Report on the progress of the region to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team

  • Facilitate and communicate effectively: can lead interactive workshops with stakeholders and deliver high-quality training sessions to groups of trainees;
  • Navigate and achieve change in the public sector: has knowledge or experience of operating in a political environment and driving reforms through public-sector decision-making processes such as budget setting, legislating, and procurement;
  • Build DA: demonstrating a commitment to the growth and development of the company, including business development, recruiting, IP development and living our values.

Required Skills/Experiences
  • 10-15 years of experience working in public sector consulting, government, development banks, and/or public policy
  • Knowledge of specific policy fields, such as agriculture, climate, health, or economic diversification is highly desirable
  • Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders in various public sector settings, particularly in GCC countries
  • Deep capacity-building and training skills with experience in creating and offering products and learning programs to public sector partners across the Middle East and/or other regions around the world
  • Experience in establishing and supporting development funds is highly desirable, but not essential (e.g., Global Fund, GFF, IFAD, etc.)
  • Arabic and English fluency is essential; additional fluency is French is preferred
